Mike has over 32 years of experience in the construction industry. A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, he launched his career in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. markets before making Charlotte his home in 2000. In 2014, he founded Playbook and has successfully completed over $750 million of projects in his career. His expertise in project execution and team leadership ensures efficient, high-quality results.

Mike also holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and is actively involved in the Charlotte business community. He volunteers and supports local organizations in our region.  He has held board positions and volunteered with the Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Realtors, Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools, YMCA of Greater Charlotte, USGBC, and Junior Achievement. In recognition of his leadership and impact, Mike was nominated for the Charlotte Ledger’s 2025 40 Over 40 Award.

 You can find him on the golf course, behind the grill, or with a good book in hand when he’s not reviewing blueprints or fine-tuning project schedules.
