WK Dickson hired Playbook for their new 10,964 SF HQ office space at The Refinery building off of W. Morehead Street. The space is shared by WK Dickson’s corporate home office and Charlotte Operations branch and includes new offices, open plan workstation space, a large training room, multiple conferencing spaces, galley breakroom and collaborative areas. Design elements included painted graphic walls in the open area and training room, wood veneer wall panel and ceiling elements in reception, built-in-place reception desk with solid surfaces, black interior storefront at offices and conference rooms with wood veneer doors.
“The thought of relocating the headquarters of a 90-year-old company was daunting, to say the least. Looking back, we were completely reliant on Playbook to help us make the transition as smoothly as possible. Not only did they anticipate everything we needed before we knew we needed it, but they also helped facilitate the move and all of the various punch list items on our behalf. Also, our Playbook project manager was available at all times, even for the most mundane questions. The result was the smoothest building and relocation project we have ever experienced across all of our offices and our entire southeastern footprint.”
