Mike has over 32 years of experience in the construction industry. A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, he launched his career in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. markets before making Charlotte his home in 2000. In 2014, he founded Playbook and has successfully completed more than $750 million in projects throughout his career. His expertise in project execution and team leadership ensures efficient, high-quality results for clients across a wide range of industries.

Mike also holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and is actively involved in the Charlotte business community. He currently serves on the Board of the Charlotte Touchdown Club and has held board positions and volunteered with the Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Realtors, Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools, YMCA of Greater Charlotte, USGBC, and Junior Achievement. In recognition of his leadership and impact, Mike was nominated for the Charlotte Ledger’s 2025 40 Over 40 Award.

When he’s not reviewing blueprints or fine-tuning project schedules, you can find Mike on the golf course, behind the grill, or enjoying a good book.
